Peter Younghusband bought his first Defence Housing Australia (DHA) property in 2001. Peter now owns six DHA investment properties.

“Living in Karratha in the remote North West of Western Australia, I wanted a property investment strategy that didn’t require hands on management.”

“Now I don’t even inspect properties,” he said. “I trust DHA implicitly and emotion doesn’t factor into my decisions.”

Peter intends to purchase more DHA investment properties in the future.

“I get great satisfaction from my portfolio,” he said.

“My aim is to build a significant property portfolio, sell some off when the lease expires, and live off the income.

“DHA investments are something I believe in,” he said. “I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.”
